What is Neuralisse?
A dietary supplement in vegetable capsules. The label calls it a "Nerve Support Formula*" for nerve health, comfort and nutrition. It is not a drug and not a treatment for neuropathy or diabetes.
Who makes Neuralisse?
The label names the distributor: Neuralisse, Aurora, CO 80011. It does not print a country of manufacture. This website is a stocking outlet, not the maker.
Is Neuralisse approved by the FDA?
No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements (FDA, Supplements 101). The label says its statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
Is Neuralisse a scam?

How many capsules come in a bottle?

What is in Neuralisse?
What ingredients are in Neuralisse?
Six, in label order: magnesium glycinate, alpha-lipoic acid, butcher's broom root extract, L-carnitine, turmeric extract (95% curcuminoids) and coenzyme Q10. The ingredients page covers each one.
How much magnesium is in one capsule?
80 mg, or 19% of the Daily Value, from magnesium glycinate. It is the only amount printed on the panel.
Why are the other amounts not shown?
They sit in a 575 mg proprietary blend. Rules allow a blend to list its total weight and its ingredients by weight order only (FDA, Labeling guide).
How much alpha-lipoic acid does Neuralisse have?
The label does not say. Label math puts it at most 287 mg. Nerve studies used 600 mg a day.
Why is butcher's broom in a nerve formula?
The label does not explain. Research on it covers leg vein symptoms, not nerves (MSKCC, Butcher's broom). It also carries a diabetes caution.
Is Neuralisse vegan or gluten-free?
The label does not claim either and prints no allergen statement. The capsule shell is vegetable based (hypromellose).

Is Neuralisse safe?
What side effects can Neuralisse cause?
Mild ones are possible: nausea, loose stools, itchy skin or poor sleep. Alpha-lipoic acid can lower blood sugar. See the side effects page.
Which medicines can clash with Neuralisse?
Diabetes drugs, blood thinners, bisphosphonates, some antibiotics, seizure medicine and statins are the main ones to ask about. Check with your doctor first.
Can you take alpha-lipoic acid every day?
Usual doses run 100-600 mg once or twice a day, and LiverTox calls liver injury unlikely (LiverTox, Alpha lipoic acid). Watch for low blood sugar if you have diabetes.
Does the turmeric in Neuralisse hurt the liver?
Liver injury from turmeric is very rare, but it is the most common herbal cause in the U.S. (LiverTox, Turmeric). Stop and call a doctor if skin or eyes turn yellow.
Can teenagers take Neuralisse?
No. The label says it is not for use by anyone under the age of 18. It also rules out pregnant or nursing mothers. Adults with a medical condition should ask a physician first.
Should I see a doctor about tingling feet first?
Yes. These feelings can point to diabetes or another condition that needs its own care. Get checked before trying any supplement (NINDS, Peripheral neuropathy).

Can I take two capsules for faster results?
No. The label says "Do not exceed recommended dose." No evidence shows that two capsules work faster. A second capsule only doubles the magnesium and the blend ingredients, which raises the odds of stomach upset.
I forgot a capsule. What now?
Skip it. Take the next one at your usual time, and never take two at once. One missed day changes little. A weekly pill box helps if you forget often.
Can I take Neuralisse with another magnesium supplement?
Add them up first. The NIH upper limit is 350 mg a day from supplements and medicines, not counting food (ODS, Magnesium). Neuralisse gives 80 mg. Antacids and laxatives can hold magnesium too, so count those.
Where should I keep the bottle?
In a cool, dry place below 30°C (86°F), out of reach of children, as the label says. Avoid the bathroom, where steam adds moisture, and a hot car. Do not use a bottle with a damaged or missing seal.
When might I notice a change?

What is the Neuralisse refund policy?
